This 3.5 mile walk takes you via Elberry Cove and Broadsands beach, and if you are lucky, you may see dolphins or seals swimming around.
There are a couple of beach cafes at Broadsands which open around 9am. As you can see, dogs will love it!
Take the coast path to Brixham via Elberry, Churston and Fishcombe Coves. On reaching Brixham you can either catch the No 12 bus back to Churston Golf Course or reverse the route
Note this walk requires a good level of fitness as the path is quite undulating and the climbs down and up from the coves are steep (but really worth it!)
Only 15 minutes away by car, your dogs will have a great time running around the woodland and streams.
Parking is available at the Farm Shop and Attraction Center, where you can eat, shop or let your children meet the farm animals.
From the house take a short walk down to Galmpton Creek where you will join the Greenway Walk trail.
This trail takes you alongside the River Dart through several areas managed by the National Trust, with some stunning views and beautiful woodland.
There are numerous routes you can take on the way, including Dittisham via the ferry (4 miles) or Kingswear/Dartmouth (8 miles).
Starting from the Meadfoot beach in Torquay, this walk follows the coastline along the South West coast path.
On your way you will go through Thatcher's Point, where you get the best view of the tiny island of Thatcher's Rock, before you reach the headland of Hope's Nose.
This is one of the most popular walks in Devon, so although it is a one hour drive from the house, it is so good we didn't want to leave it out!
This is a 4 mile loop through the Teign Valley and back via the riverside path. If you get peckish, you can pop into the pub at Fingle Bridge for a snack and drink.
Take a 4 mile walk along the South Coast path past three beaches, countless coves and gardens all the way to Paignton Pier.
On route you are bound to be passed by the Dartmouth Steam Train so give them a wave and you will get a toot in return!
Jump on the No 12 bus to Churston Golf course if required.
Take in the spectacular sea views of Torbay and walk around the remains of the Napolenic Fort. Food and drink available at the Guardroom Cafe.
This walk takes in the woodland along the top of Coleton Fishacre garden, rugged coastline, and the South West Coast path.
